Alexius IV Angelus
The exiled son of deposed Emperor Isaac II, Alexius Angelus managed to divert the 4th Crusade to Constantinople in order to place himself on the throne. Undone by his own arrogance, he was soon deposed and slain by the machinations of Alexius V Ducas. -
Alexius V Ducas
The last emperor of Constantinople in the months prior to the Great Sack of 1204, this unfortunate intriguer fled in its wake. He was eventually betrayed, returned to the city, and executed by the new Latin order. -
Alfonse Borgio
A loyal servant, friend and ghoul to Lotario Acuto, this mercenary was slain by the Nosferatu "crusader" known as Thierry de Villiers. -

The consanguineous sister of Petrus the Troubadour, this Phaedymite briefly mentored Francis in the arts of combat. -

Once owner and proprietor of the Eye, a brothel and tavern in the old Genoese Quarter of Constantinople, Anastasia is a close ally of Jules Talbot. With the destruction of her establishment in 1204, she nows runs the Silk Road instead. -

This madman is the sometime companion and protector of Lucita d'Aragon in her travels. He is seer of sorts, motivated to pursue esoteric goals by the voices of angels. -

A skilled jeweller, this Michaelite was among those who fell to the temptations of the Children of Judas. Reclaimed to virtue, he became the first of the Reformed Michaelites. Athanasios continues to dwell in Constantinople, looking for hope in the ashes. -
Axel Dressler von Lünedorf
A rising star among the noble faction of the Burzenland, this young edler appears to be under the protection of Lucien the Roman. He is the son of Karl Dressler, and younger brother of Bernerd Dressler. -
Baldwin of Flanders
The late count of Flanders and Hainaut, as well as the first Latin Emperor of Byzantium. Baldwin was noted for his valour, piety, and talent for negotiating the pitfalls of continental politics. He died in 1205, a prisoner of the Tsar of Bulgaria. -
Barentis
Once a servant of the late Basileus of the Antonian Ventrue, this longevous ghoul is now a friend of the Concord and the secretive methuselah known as Byzar. He is the last of the excubitors, once the most feared warriors in all of Christendom. -
Basil of Thessalonica
Once the Western Praetorian Prefect of the Antonians, during the Great Sack this Ventrue was revealed to be a member of the Chosen of Calomena. Staked, he was given to the Lexor Brujah for judgement. -
Basilio the Elder
The former Prince of Sophia; an elder known to be both devout and loyal, but something of an autocrat in his style. He fled his city after a failed assassination attempt in December of 1204. -
Belisarius
Once the Military Prefect of the Antonians, this elder is an unliving legend among the Damned. He reportedly survived the Great Sack, and it is said that he has taken to wandering. -
Beltanz
This vile, murderous Tzimisce led a pack of bestial Cainites in the wilds of the Tihuta Pass until they ran afoul of the coterie and he was brought to justice. -
Bernerd Dressler von Sankt Wolfgang
A callow, irresponsible but essentially well-meaning young man, this kinsman of Bernhard von Billung joined the 4th Crusade in hopes of earning his spurs. He succeeded, but the trials he endured during the pilgrimage stipped him of his sanity. -
Bernhard Billung
A ruggedly handsome and dangerous looking Saxon; the Gangrel prince of Kronstadt was a veteran of many years of war. He was slain by Timur, warmaster of Vrancea, in single combat after the battle of Bostral Pass. -
Bertrandus d'Apt
The childe, seneschal and errand-boy of Sir Felix of Vaucluse, this Cainite didn't seem to be a bad fellow, company considered. He was destroyed in April of 1204. -
Bodor Toth
The reclusive Knez of Toth, this ancilla is a cold and vengeful Tzimisce, who bears a twisted love for his family and loyalty to his people. Despite his relative youth, he is a master of Auspex. Bodor is an ally of the Concord. -
Bogdan Basarab
A Tzimisce warrior in service to Voivode Mircea Dzardescu of Suceava, Bogdan is the nominal leader of the formidable coterie known as the Northern Blood. He is also the younger brother of Veceslav Basarab. -
Boniface of Montferrat
The mortal figurehead of the Fourth Crusade, this noble comes from an illustrious family and has garnered much fame for his chivalrous exploits. After the 4th Crusade, he briefly became King of Thessalonica before dying in battle in 1207. -
Bonifaz Bender
The wealthy and influential Guildmaster of Stonemasons in Kronstadt. Very spry indeed for his advanced years, he is also ghoul to the Tremere known as Eridanus. -
Borgor
Dubbed the Eyes of Calomena, this Caitiff was one of the more subtle among the cult. He was destroyed by the formative Concord in 1196. -
Boris
A stalwart, stoical Slav who served Stanislav as a bodyguard. He went to the Final Death along with his master. -
Brandt von Bremen
Once the bodyguard of Archdeacon Simon von Nijmegen, this puissant warrior left the Burzenland with the demise of his master. His whereabouts are unknown. -
Brother Gerasimos
An Obertus monk, deeply reverential of the Saint of the Divinity Within. Long ago, when they were both mortal, Gerasimos was the first Gesudian that Veceslav Basarab met. He survived the Great Sack, and reportedly joined a refugee caravan to the West. -
Budai Balázs
The Warden of Buda-Pest; a rugged, rough man who struggles to live up to knightly ideals and prove himself worthy of Ventrue blood. -
Bulscu
The self-styled King of of the Árpád Ventrue and the Cainites of Hungary, this master manipulator has receded into the shadows in recent decades. Many wonder at what secret scheme he is hatching, and where his covetous eye will fall next... -
Byzar
The legendary founder of Byzantium, this long-lost Ancient is the Childe of the Antediluvian, Cappadocius. Awoken from a millenia-long torpor in the wake of the 4th Crusade, he now quietly struggles to find his feet in a new epoch. -

An ancilla of the Giovanni Cappadocians, this mechant represents his family's interests in the Queen of Cities. He once enslaved George Davras, and for his crimes he has earned the undying enmity of he and his wife, Iulia. -

A noted knight among the Teutonic Order, as well as secretly a rising star among the Order of the Black Cross, this ancilla is a skilled leader and a truly masterful combatant. -
Colard de Parcey
This sly courtier of the House of Fabricius is known among mortals as the Lord of Parcey in the Free County of Burgundy and also of Christopolis in the Kingdom of Thessalonica. -

Something of an urban myth, this one-eyed bandit long haunted the roads and hills surrounding Hermannstadt. One of the few survivors of the Hell Hounds, he is now at large. -

A neonate of the Clan of the Rose who resides in the Amalfitan Quarter. Originally considered to be a Cainite of little account or worth, she allied with Alessa di Positano to change her stars. Now, she is seen as a young, ambitious vampire to watch. -
David Handler
The most gregarious of the Brood of Hermannstadt, this Nosferatu watches over a number of guilds in the city. He also acts as an unofficial treasurer and accountant for his fellows. -
Dieter von Karlach
The cruel and brutal Prince of Hartberg and Lord of Karlach. He is a rival of Jürgen von Verden, and a participant of the Fifth Crusade in the service of Leopold of Austria. -
Dietrich von Hammerstein
This fanatic is a noted brother among the Teutonic Knights and a key member of the Order of the Black Cross for Kronstadt. -
Dietrich von Steyer
A relic of the former High Clan regime of Vienna, this miserly elder once sought to find a use for his recalcitrant progeny. She has both succeeded beyond his wildest dreams, and failed beyond his deepest anxieties. -
Dionysius
This gentle Cappadocian is the ancient Prince of Athens. He is a paragon of the Road of Humanity, and an occasional advisor and patron to Sister Maude. He is also an ally of the Dream. -
Dmitar Saronja
An idealistic, generous and willful clan advocate of the Brujah, known for his desire to see his fellows spread further into Eastern Europe. He perished at the hands of Kordönül in AD 1212, sacrificing himself so that Helena might escape. -
Doge Enrico Dandolo
The venerable and revered blind Doge of Venice. Enrico Dandolo is one of the wealthiest men in the world, and certainly among the most influential. He is a key driver in the Fourth Crusade... -
Dominic
This Carthaginian elder was the Brujah warlord of the Banat, where he warred incessantly against the Arpad Ventrue and elements of the Tzimisce Voivodate. His demesnes have been conquered and broken up since he disappeared. -
Dominik
A savage childe and servant of the nefarious Voivode Koban of Vrancea. He was destroyed by the Concord while attempting to murder the boyar of Toth. -

A mercurial elder of the Lexor Brujah, responsible for the civil administration of Districts four to seven. During the Great Sack, he was revealed as one of the Chosen of Calomena. Subdued by the Concord, he was handed over to his family for judgement. -

As Warden (sheriff) of Câmpulung, Doru is responsible for the security and good order of his sire's domain. Unusual for a Tzimisce, he seems to display respect and regard for the mortals in his care. -

A Gangrel Sinner of the northern Carpathians, this archer and scout despises Christianity and the soft ways of Civilisation. She is a priestess of Veles. -
Drenis
Called the Charnel-Maid by her clan, this ancient Cappadocian was briefly involved in the capture and execution of Aglaia, the ousted prince of Korkyra. She is a recluse, contemplating the pursuit of Golconda. -

Once the Antonian Palace Prefect, this elder claimed the imperial family as his dominion. For centuries he was one of the most influential Cainites in the empire, but he lost it all in 1204. He is believed to have suffered the Final Death soon after. -

Equal parts wise-woman, prophet, charlatan and scholar of mysteries, this self-admitted meddler wanders the fringes of Europe looking for ways to ameliorate the worst excesses of the Children of Caine and better the lot of the kine. -
Dévald Toth
The deceased mortal boyar of Toth, Dévald was a hard man and a natural leader. He was deeply loyal to his people and his family, and forcibly became accustomed to making difficult decisions to protect both. Dévald passed away early in the winter of 1207. -
Eadith Dressler von Bleckede
The Lady of Lünedorf and Sankt Wolfgang; a hard-nosed, stern woman more at home tending her farms than attending court. She is wife to Karl Dressler and mother to Axel, Ingrid, Wanda and Bernerd. -

A humble merchant of the Levant, this Ravnos serves the Bashirite sect as an ambassador of sorts. -

A brutal and loyal ghoul in the service of Erzebet Toth. -
Eridanus
The cautious and secretive Tremere Regent of Kronstadt. Eridanus claims to be interested only in pursuing his studies in secret and filtering supplies to Ceoris, but the few who know of him are suspicious of his intentions at best. -
Erzebet Toth
This Tzimisce neonate of Szekler blood walks the Road of the Beast instinctively. She is a cruel Cainite, but is deeply loyal to her family and her people. -

A cruel and sadistic Szekler scout from the fort and village of Bodzaforduló. Present during an ambush upon the Ashen Band, he fled the fight. He was later seen suffering terrible torture in the palace of the Winter Prince of the Fae. -

The nominal sire of the late Fra' Raymond, this nigh on legendary Cainite leads the Nosferatu Order of St. Ladre. He is known by reputation only to the Concord and the Ashen Band. -

Leader of the formidable band of Lazarene knights who make their havens in the sewers and cisterns beneath Constantinople, this quiet, dignified Nosferatu looks to the defence and succor of the small folk of the city. -

A breath-takingly beautiful lady of the Clan of the Rose, this ancilla was notorious for her degeneracy. Before the Great Sack, she barely held onto her status as a Michaelite, and in its wake she was left a desperate outcast. She finally left in 1205. -
Gallasyn
This elder is a broken wreck of his former glory. Centuries ago he was the Michaelite Muse of Sculpture, but he came down very far in the world by the the time of the 4th Crusade. Revealed as one of the outlawed Chosen of Calomena, he then fled the city. -
Galnetz
A very unusual Tzimisce who believes in the power of science to free men from superstition and poverty. An astrologer, explorer, cartographer and metaphysician, he was an extreme breath of fresh air in the hostile Cainite climate of Transylvania. -

This formidable noblewoman is the daughter of Burgrave Albert and Burgravine Livia, as well as the wife of Axel Dressler. She appears to affect a modest demeanour, but it is clear that she has the haughty confidence that only the high-born can muster. -
