Tzimisce Clan Prestige

  • Level One: Perhaps you are either a noted servant (such as a minor knez) of a more powerful Tzimisce or a little known koldunic adept. Most walkers on the via mutationis, called Seekers, who have travelled will have earned enough of a reputation to enjoy this much prestige. If you belong to the Obertus, you may have been noted for your pursuit of the Divinity Within or for founding a priory. Examples: Knez Veceslav of Tihuta, Sergiu Lazar, Ilias cel Frumos, Brother Gerasimos of St. John Studius,
  • Level Two: If you have pursued secular power you are either a powerful knez in your own right or else a weak voivode in someone else’s. A well-known koldunic adept will typically enjoy this much prestige, as will a typical travelled Shaper Priest (level 6+ on the Road of Metamorphosis). If you belong to the Obertus Order, you have probably been a trusted servant of Gesu or Symeon. Examples: Prince Radu of Bistritz, Knez Marelle of Tara Fagarasului, Myca Vykos
  • Level Three: You are a typical voivode in your own right, with several knezi vassals and significant lands. A koldunic adept who is competent in several Ways, or a master who has conquered one of them, will enjoy this level of respect. A Shaper Priest who has joined a significant court will have this much status, as will a typical Obertus Abbot. Examples: Voivode Visya, Voivode Mircea of Suceava, Count Florescu
  • Level Four: You are a powerful voivode in your own right, with many subordinate knezi and the loyalty of a number of lesser voivodes. You may even declare yourself Voivode among Voivodes, but that would be foolhardy unless you were sure you could keep the title. Or perhaps you are a koldun who has achieved mastery of a number of Ways, and have trained other sorcerers who speak of your greatness. If you are a Shaper Priest, you are seen as a visionary of the via mutationis that has learned a few of the secrets of Azhi Dahaka. Among the Obertus, you are a noted abbot or elder, touted as one of the possible brainchildren of the Dracon’s vision. Examples: Velya the Flayer, Noriz, the Corrupter of Legions, Keeper of the Faith
  • Level Five: You have garnered enough support to declare yourself Voivode among Voivodes, and despite challengers you have held onto the position for a lengthy period. If you are a koldun or a Shaper Priest, you are an unliving legend; your knowledge is envied, and your tutelage much sought by your lessers. Among the Obertus, you are a great leader, seen as a guiding force for the Order. Examples: Voivode among Voivodes Vladimir Rustovitch, Archontas Symeon
  • Level Six: Your influence on the Fiends has influenced the course of the clan for centuries, and if you are no longer active you are almost certainly a myth. You have probably held the position of Voivode among Voivodes several times, and enjoy enough prestige that if you claimed it once more the clan would follow you without question. Only the greatest kolduns and Shaper Priests, few of whom still exist, have earned this kind of respect. Among the Obertus, only the spiritual heart of the order can claim it. Examples: Gesu, Ionache, Andeleon
  • Level Seven: You are change in motion, privy to the greatest secrets of the clan, one of the eldest Fiends remaining, created millennia ago by the Eldest because it foresaw a great destiny for you. Example: The Dracon, Yorak
